Rules & Regulations

Please make sure your child(ren) understands that coming to Innoaddi is to learn and enjoy STEAM and 3D printing. Our goal is for every student to arrive and leave happy and safe. To ensure a positive learning environment in our classrooms and workshops, everyone must follow the rules below.

Student Rules

  • Students must always follow the directions and instructions of Innoaddi teaching staff and administrative staff.

  • Students must respect instructors, staff, parents, and other students at all times. Kindness, cooperation, and proper use of Innoaddi property are expected.

  • No swearing, bullying, threatening, inappropriate language, or aggressive behavior is allowed. Pushing, hitting, throwing items, or any violent behavior may result in removal from class.

  • Physical safety is the highest priority. No running, chasing, yelling, sports, or fighting is allowed in the facility.

  • On‑time attendance is required. A written or verbal notice from the student or parent/guardian is required for any absence, late arrival, or early dismissal.

  • Students may not leave the classroom or workshop without permission from the instructor (including bathroom breaks and pickup).

  • Students may not move, touch, or use any tools, 3D printers, parts, devices, equipment, or workspace without staff permission.

  • Students must treat all projects, prototypes, and models—whether their own or others’—with care. No disassembling, changing, or taking items that do not belong to them.

  • Students must not use any equipment that looks damaged or unsafe and should immediately give it to an instructor or staff member.

  • Students must ask for permission and be supervised when using sharp tools, power tools, hot surfaces, or heavy objects.

  • Students may not climb or reach high objects without staff help or proper protection.

  • Students are encouraged to work collaboratively in small and large groups and to follow any additional rules provided for competitions or special events.

  • Students and parents are responsible for paying for any damages or loss caused by misuse of Innoaddi property.

  • Students must keep the classroom and facility clean and tidy. Food and drink are only allowed in designated areas, not in the workshop.

Behavior Issues and Expectations

  • Instructors will notify staff and parents if behavior becomes disruptive or unsafe.

  • Students with repeated or serious behavior issues may be asked to leave the class or program.

  • If necessary, Innoaddi may investigate incidents to understand what happened and determine appropriate next steps.

  • If, after several warnings, a student continues to make the learning environment unsafe or difficult for others, Innoaddi may remove the student from future classes or programs.

  • Innoaddi reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, consistent with applicable federal and state nondiscrimination laws.

Parent/Guardian Rules

  • Parents or designated adults are expected to pick up students on time at the end of class. If pickup is more than 15 minutes late, an extended care fee (for example, $30) may be charged.

  • If a student cannot be picked up on time and no prior arrangement is made with Innoaddi staff, staff may not be able to remain with the student. Parents accept all risks and responsibilities for any period their child remains at the facility without staff present, as described in the Liability Waiver.

  • Students, parents, or customers may not remain in the facility without staff present or without staff permission. If parents are allowed to stay, they must supervise their child(ren) at all times and accept all risks and responsibilities.

  • Any child under six (6) years old must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times in the facility, unless otherwise arranged.

  • Parents should not interfere with Innoaddi classes, programs, or activities. Please allow students space to learn and grow independently.

  • Parents are expected to help students understand and follow the Student Rules and Facility Usage Rules.

  • All vehicles must be parked in areas designated by Innoaddi or the hosting site. Parents are responsible for any fines, damages, or losses related to parking violations.

  • Parents and/or students must obtain approval from Innoaddi administrative staff before holding any non‑class activities inside or outside the building or Innoaddi facilities.

  • For absences, parents must follow Innoaddi’s published procedures (for example, submitting an online leave/absence form). Any make‑up class eligibility, limits, and conditions will follow Innoaddi’s Terms and Conditions.

  • Food and drink are allowed only in designated areas. No food, drink, gum, or candy is allowed in the workshop.

  • No smoking or alcohol is allowed.

  • No firearms, lighters, knives, or other dangerous tools, chemicals, or substances are allowed in the facility.
