Fall Student Design Challenge

Imagine it. Design it. Bring it to life.

 Design Challenge Introduction

What does this season inspire you to create? Design an original object inspired by autumn, Halloween, nature, or a problem you’d like to solve this season. It can be fun, useful, or both.

Students in grades K–12 can enter. You do not need a 3D printer, and you may use any 3D design software. A drawing or digital image of your idea is enough to enter.

​

Entries open October 8 and close November 28, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Winners will be announced December 5, 2026.

Prizes
 

  • Grand Prize: $100 InnoAddi gift card

  • Second Prize: $50 InnoAddi gift card

  • Third Prize: $25 InnoAddi gift card
     

We’ll consider creativity, design thinking, and how clearly the student explains the idea. Designs will be considered with the student’s grade level in mind.

How to enter

  • Create your original design.

  • Save an image, screenshot, or clear photo of it.

​

  • Have a parent or guardian complete the form below and tell us what your design does or why you created it.

​

  • If you have a 3D model file, you can include it, but it is not required.

Need help getting started?

Join our in-person design workshop on Saturday, October 31 2026. Students can brainstorm, sketch, and get help developing a 3D design idea.

 

Workshop location and registration details will be posted here soon. Attending is optional and does not affect judging.
