Service Description

Our August Saturday Advanced 3D Design & Printing Camp is designed for students who are ready to go beyond basic 3D printing and build stronger design, problem-solving, and project-building skills. Students will use beginner-friendly and intermediate 3D design tools to turn ideas into real digital models and 3D printed creations. The focus is not only on learning software, but also on thinking like a designer: creating ideas, testing designs, improving structures, and refining projects through iteration. This program is a strong fit for students interested in 3D printing, engineering, product design, architecture, creative technology, or early portfolio-building. Returning students will have opportunities to work on more independent and customized projects. Motivated beginners may also be considered. If your child is new to 3D design and printing, please contact us before registering so we can confirm whether this camp is the right fit. Students Will: Learn and apply 3D design software Create original digital models and 3D printed projects Explore how 3D printers work Design creative and functional objects Improve designs through testing and revision Build confidence explaining their design ideas Take home printed work when available Projects may include fidgets, whistles, cars, movable animals, personalized objects, functional prototypes, and simple mechanical or geometric designs. Portfolio & Certificate We provide computers, 3D printers, design software guidance, PLA filament for class projects, project support, and a Certificate of Completion.
