General
What age groups do you serve?
We offer programs for kids ages 6–16, teens, and adults. Whether your child is just starting out or you're an adult looking to learn a new skill, we have a class suited to you.
Do I need any prior experience?
No prior experience is required. Our classes are designed for beginners through advanced learners, and instructors guide you step-by-step from basic 3D design concepts to more advanced techniques.
Where are classes held?
Classes are held at different locations in Lexington, MA, as well as partner schools for after-school programs (Hastings, Fiske, and Bridge Elementary). Check each class listing for its specific location.
What's the difference between Weekend Classes, After-School, and Summer Camps?
Weekend Classes run at Lexington High School and Munroe Center for the Arts on Saturdays for kids and adults. After-School programs run at partner elementary schools during the school year. Summer Camps are week-long intensive sessions during school breaks. All teach 3D design and printing, just in different formats and schedules.

Do you offer classes for schools or organizations?
Yes, we partner with schools for after-school programs and also offer teacher training. Contact us to discuss a partnership.
Can I try a class before committing?
Yes — we offer a free Open House / Trial class so you can see if it's a good fit before enrolling in a full session.
What's the class size?
We keep group sizes small so instructors can give hands-on, individual attention to every student.
Can my child switch class levels if they're more advanced (or need more practice)?
Yes — talk to your instructor or contact us directly, and we'll help place your child at the right level (Beginner or Enrichment).
Careers & Outcomes
What does a typical camp week look like?
Campers work through hands-on design and printing projects — from custom name tags to moving models — building skills in 3D software, printing, and problem-solving over the course of the week, with a take-home creation.
What should my child bring to camp or after-school class?
Just enthusiasm! All tools, materials, and equipment are provided. We'll let you know if any specific session requires anything extra.
Is it safe for kids?
Yes. Our 3D printers include safety features, we use non-toxic materials, and instructors are trained to supervise all activities closely to ensure a safe, supportive learning environment.
What materials are used?
We use safe, high-quality PLA (polylactic acid), which is biodegradable and non-toxic — especially for kids' classes.

Yes. 3D printing skills are in demand across engineering, healthcare, design, and manufacturing — whether you're advancing a career, starting a business, or exploring a new hobby, our classes give you practical, real-world skills employers value.
What will my child actually learn?
Students master 3D design, sculpting, scanning, slicing, and printing software; explore how 3D printing applies in real industries like healthcare and sustainability; and build problem-solving and critical-thinking skills through hands-on projects.
What career paths can 3D printing skills lead to?
Graduates of our programs go on to explore fields like product design, mechanical and biomedical engineering, architecture, game and animation design, and manufacturing. The design and problem-solving skills learned here also transfer well into any STEM-related path, even outside of 3D printing specifically.
Do you offer any career guidance or mentorship beyond the classes themselves?
We provide career talks, connect students with internships, host industry guest speakers, or offer advanced/portfolio-building tracks for teens.
